Ready to Explore Thailand?

To make sure we make the most out of our time in Thailand, we have included many trips that will allow you to discover and get engaged with the culture.

All in One Active Vacation in Paradise

Here are some of the activities included in the retreat.

Jungle Camping & Elephant Care Experience

In this back to nature experience we will ride on 4×4 jeeps, hike, visit waterfalls, cock lunch in the jungle using only bamboo to make our pots pans and cups just like the jungle natives do. Our guide is an ex monk and a jungle guide who will show us the native way of life. We will stay in his village and go on experiences like bathing and playing with the elephants, bamboo rafting, cooking lessons with the villagers and much more. This will be a once in a lifetime experience since it is away from all the tourist attractions and we will be connecting directly with the locals in a very comfortable setting. Note that all accommodations on camp are shared accommodations.

Temple Tours

Chiang Mai’s temples are perhaps the most interesting of its many attractions. Unlike Bangkok, where few temples are more than 200 years old, some temples in Chiang Mai are as old as the city, which celebrated it’s 700th anniversary in 1996. We will have the change the visit many of the temples in the city, in the mountains and in nature. Each of them has its own character and it interesting in its own right. Have your camera ready since there will be a lot of amazing details to capture

Local Night Markets

Whether you’re on the lookout for souvenirs or not, a walk through Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar is always a worthwhile experience for the lively atmosphere, the food, and of course, the chance to find a bargain. The night bazaar in Chiang Mai is one of the most famous in Thailand—with good reason, as well as one of the oldest evening markets in the country. The massive sprawl of vendors goes on for several blocks and makes for an exciting evening, whether you’re buying or merely browsing the array of handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, art and more

ABOUT GENE NAGATA:

Thanks for stopping by! Most of you know me as Potato Jet on youtube. I started off with a simple camera, an idea, and a willing group of friends to make silly films with me in school. Eventually I knew I wanted a career doing what I love so I started freelancing as a filmmaker. I went around sooting and editing fun jobs, along with some not so fun jobs. While learning and improving every day, I managed to survive out here in LA for the last 12 years just by making videos so I consider myself lucky.

Currently I spend most of my time tangled up in this whole new YouTube world because I really think this is the future but I also maintain my production companies Megalith Digital and Second Light Creative where we continue to create commercial jobs for our clients.
